ONE LIMS

The LIMS built by a cannabis testing lab, now open to yours

Everything your lab actually uses. Nothing you pay for and don't.

One LIMS runs the full testing day in one workspace: intake with METRC IDs, results checked against your limits, reviewer and quality sign-off, QR-verified COAs, invoices and a complete audit trail. It is set up with your own panels and action limits, and it's now opening to cannabis labs everywhere by monthly subscription or license.

Why One LIMS exists

We built the LIMS we wanted to pay for.

The bill kept climbing. Our Puerto Rico lab pays about $2,000 a month for its LIMS, and the price goes up as sample volume grows.

Most of it went unused. Day to day we used the core workflow: intake, results, sign-off, COAs and invoices. The rest of the package sat idle.

So we built One LIMS. It will run our new lab, One Analytics in St. Croix, and we are opening it to labs that want the same thing: the core workflow, done well, at a price that makes sense.

/ Overview

Configured for your lab

One LIMS, set up around your test menu and your limits.

Every lab runs the same One LIMS. What changes from lab to lab is the testing panels you offer and the action limits your results are checked against, and both are set for you at setup and can change whenever your rules do.

Testing panels

Offer exactly what you test.

Turn panels on or off, add analytes to a panel, or add a whole new test such as terpenes, residual solvents or a single-analyte screen. Prices follow each panel into invoices.

Action limits

Check results against your rules.

Set a maximum for any analyte, including total THC. Use your state's limit, a stricter in-house limit, or report-only. Pass and fail update the moment a result is typed.

Rule changes

A new rule is a settings change.

When a regulator moves a limit, update it once. Samples still in progress re-check; approved certificates keep the limits they were approved under, so your history stays accurate.

Same platform for every lab

Your setup, the One LIMS platform.

Your configuration sits on the same One LIMS every lab uses, with the same security, audit trail, COA verification and updates.

Why labs switch

The problems labs bring to us, and what changes after the move.

Paying for a whole catalog

The workflow you use, without the add-ons you don't.

One LIMS covers intake, results, sign-off, COAs, invoices and the audit trail. Every plan includes unlimited staff users, so nobody shares a login to save on seats.

Months-long setups

Live in about four weeks.

Your panels, action limits, COA layout and price list are configured by us. We import your clients, orders and samples, then run in parallel before you cut over.

Results you have to defend

Every change is recorded.

Who changed what, when, and the before and after values are kept in a read-only history. Cancellations need a reason. Selected services lock after intake.

Forged or altered COAs

Clients and regulators can check a certificate.

Each COA carries a QR code that opens a public verification page showing the issued certificate summary for that accession.

Billing in a separate tool

Invoices come from the order.

Line items build from the services on each sample. Draft, sent and paid states, revisions, credits and refunds are tracked alongside the lab work.

Rules that keep moving

Limits live in your configuration.

Action limits and calculations are set per panel, so a rule change becomes a settings update. The new federal hemp definition takes effect November 12, 2026.

What's included

Everything a compliance lab runs on, in one place.

Orders and chain of custody

Automatic order and accession numbers, received and due dates, attachments and sample photos in private storage.

METRC-ready sample intake

Batch, lot and METRC IDs, batch size, amount sampled and used, with warnings when amounts don't add up.

Result entry with automatic pass/fail

Results are checked against your limits as they are typed. Total THC and total CBD calculate themselves.

Separation of duties

Technician, reviewer and administrator roles. Analyst, technical reviewer and quality signatures on every COA.

COAs with QR verification

Compliance and R&D certificates, preview or download one at a time, or the whole order at once.

Invoices and price catalog

Per-sample and per-order services, whole-percentage discounts, revisions, credits and refunds.

Audit trail

A paginated, read-only change history with actor, time, record and the fields that changed.

Live updates

When a colleague saves a result, everyone's screen updates. Notifications point to what needs attention.

Nothing to install

Runs in the browser on any computer or tablet. CSV export for clients, orders and invoices.

What's next

Where One LIMS is going, built with our founding labs.

Everything above works today. These are the next pieces we are building. Founding labs help decide what ships first.

Plans

Subscribe monthly or license it outright.

Both options include the full workflow, unlimited staff users and setup with your own panels and limits. We share pricing with founding labs first.

Switching plan

Four weeks from your current system to live.

We do the configuration and the data move. Your team keeps testing the whole time.

  1. Export and map

You send an export from your current LIMS or spreadsheets. We map clients, licences, orders, samples and signatures to One LIMS.

  2. Configure

We set up your panels, methods, action limits, COA wording and price list, and invite your staff with the right roles.

  3. Run in parallel

Your team enters live samples in both systems and compares COAs line by line until they match.

  4. Go live

You switch over. Historic records stay searchable and retained for audit.

The same import path moved One Analytics' historic clients, orders and samples from its previous system. The original records were kept as read-only snapshots for audit.

What your LIMS costs now

Security and data integrity

Built for labs that get audited.

Access rules are enforced in the database itself, so a screen can't show or change what a role isn't allowed to touch.

Roadmap: Metrc and BioTrack reporting Roadmap: instrument file import Roadmap: client portal Roadmap: multi-state limit packs
  • Two-factor sign-in required. Staff can't reach lab data without a verified authenticator code.
  • Row-level security on every table. Each lab only sees its own records, checked in PostgreSQL on every request.
  • Private document storage. Attachments and sample photos open through short-lived links for signed-in staff.
  • Read-only audit history. Browser sessions can't write to the audit log; administrators can review it.
  • Versioned reports. Issued certificates are protected from silent edits; corrections leave a record.
  • Hardened hosting. HTTPS-only, a content security policy and clickjacking protection on the app.

Questions

What labs ask before switching.

How can my lab get One LIMS?

By monthly subscription, where we host and update it, or by license. We are onboarding a small group of founding labs first. Apply below and we'll set up a call about your panels, volume and current system, then send pricing.

Can One LIMS match our test menu and action limits?

Yes. We set up One LIMS with your panels, analytes, methods, units and action limits, including tests outside our starting set. When a rule changes, the limit is updated and in-progress samples re-check against it. The software and brand stay One LIMS for every lab.

Can you move our data from our current LIMS?

Yes. We take an export from your current system or spreadsheets and import clients, licences, orders, samples and results. We keep an untouched copy of the original data for your records.

Can several of our labs or locations use one account?

Today each One LIMS workspace serves one lab, with unlimited staff on any number of computers and live updates between them. Running several labs from one account is in the next release; the demo above shows a preview.

Is there really an AI assistant?

It is planned. The assistant in the demo is a preview that answers from the example data. The real one will answer questions about your own clients, orders, samples and invoices, inside your account.

Will there be an API?

Yes, API keys with a key and secret per account are planned, so you can connect One LIMS to your own reporting, accounting or client tools.

How is our data protected?

Each lab's records are separated by database-level access rules. Staff sign in with a password and a six-digit authenticator code, roles limit what each person can do, and every change is recorded in a read-only audit trail.

Does it work with METRC?

Samples carry their METRC package IDs today, and they print on the COA. Direct reporting to Metrc and BioTrack is on the roadmap.

Who is behind One LIMS?

One LIMS comes from the team behind Cannalytics Labs in Puerto Rico and One Analytics, LLC in Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
